Resident Artist, Vic Rosen

From his college career at The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, to his career as a Civil Engineer, Vic has always had a passion for working with wood, as a hobby.  Vic's projects portray the American Spirit which includes Native Americans, leadership, historical figures and heroes…

Vic loves courage, bravery and a sense of duty and responsibility.  All things American and Texas speak to his heart.

To describe him, you would need to look at his interest(s): anything patriotic, Duty, Commitment, and Texas. He grew up in the Texas Panhandle, specifically the Amarillo area. He is truly a “Classic” with an adventurous spirit... whether hauling wood projects in his F250, rolling in his ’64 El Camino or cruising in his 2004 Convertible Corvette; Vic is always noticing the details and thinking, “How can I improve that?”.  Now through his art, he expresses a talent, that has always been there…but, now he has made the time to express it. This includes custom designed mesquite tables and accessories, wooden carvings, busts, custom CNC/laser cut plaques, gifts, commissioned carvings, clay and alabaster sculptures and as if that isn’t enough… chainsaw carvings!  He is currently experimenting with leather creations and offers wine barrel furniture and accents, as well.  Who knows what he will be adding to his talents... "I will try anything once!"  Some of his favorite projects are commissioned gifts, carvings and future family heirlooms.

His inspiration comes from American History, Fighting Spirit, and Western Art to his own personal experiences, with his Pappa in Lakeview, TX.
