Bill Bates of the Dallas Cowboys

Three-time Super Bowl Champion Dallas Cowboy Special Teams icon, Mr. Bill Bates was gracious enough to sign this tribute.  It was an honor to meet him.

The Tom Landry & Bob Lilly Era

Growing up as a Dallas Cowboy's fan, Vic always admired Coach Tom Landry and #74, Bob Lilly.  This piece is a tribute to his childhood football Legends and a donation to JDRF's Silent Auction for their annual fundraising Gala event.

A Movie Actor's Boots - Mr. Tommy Worrell

These full-size western boots were carved from Texas mesquite for a friend of mine for the display of his 100+ year old spurs.  I am proud to have had the opportunity to provide Tommy with a family heirloom for his family to own forever.

An Actual Piece of the Apache Nation

Straight from the Mescalero Tribe of the Apache Nation located near Ruidoso, NM, this Apache Warrior was carved from a piece of the Juniper tree that was trimmed months before.  In honor of our past and current Native Americans, it was my pleasure in carving this piece and returning it to Ruidoso and displaying it in the Tanner Tradition Art Gallery.

Cochise, the Great Apache Chief

An image of American history, Cochise, the Apache Chief was carved from a select piece of juniper that came from the Mescalero Tribe reservation and Apache Nation.  I was inspired to carve him after meeting his great-grandson while visiting Ruidoso, NM.  Words cannot express my feelings when carving this great leader.

Chief Bowles, the Cherokee Treaty Negotiator - 1836

A close friend of mine from New Braunfels, TX shared a tad-bit of family history:  His Great-great-great grandfather was a Cherokee Chief in the early 1800s, that negotiated and signed treaties between our two nations with the one and only General Sam Houston, the father of Texas.  Unable to find but one accurate illustration of Chief Bowles, I carved Chief Bowles from a single piece of mesquite for him.  His iconic hat was a gift given to him by Sam Houston, himself.

Jackie Sherrill Tribute to Texas A&M University

A gift presented to his daughter, Lindsey, a graduate of Texas A&M University.  With the help of "Miss Sissy," of Wimberly, Texas; A&M's very own Jackie Sherrill was gracious enough to personalize this carving.  A very big thank you.... Gig'em Aggies!

Tim Duncan, San Antonio Spurs, #21 - "Timmy"

Vic's tribute to the San Antonio Spurs and the legacy of Tim Duncan, signed by #21 himself, thanks to a close friend.
